About 30 players and singers turned up for this workshop devoted to West Gallery church music. The parts were well balanced both instrumentally and vocally once a few people had been asked to sing instead of play. The numbers were somewhat reduced relative to the previous three workshops which Francis had led for members of Bruce Randall's Boston based West Gallery Choir. This may be attributed to the change of venue, and the later arranging of the event. Everyone seemed to enjoy the eveing, and there was talk of "next time".
